Last month our diners were invited to spend an evening at India Dining with legendary Indian chef Pat Chapman, the founder of the Curry Club and editor of the Cobra Good Curry Guide.
The hotly-anticipated evening was a complete success with the restaurant packed with curry lovers keen to attend the special culinary celebration, which marked our latest accolade – being crowned ‘Best in Surrey’ for the third year running.
The ticket-only event, which took place on March 18th gave attendees the unique opportunity to meet celebrated Indian chef, Pat Chapman – and to taste his mouthwatering food.
Pat prepared a six-course feast especially designed for the occasion. He also gave a rare talk about each of the dishes, the awads and the future of British-Indian cuisine.
The evening also helped raise funds for the Hold Amy’s Hand appeal which is raising vital funds for showbiz reporter Amy Watts, who is battling cancer. Five pounds from every ticket was donated to the appeal, which hopes to raise £100,000 to pay for Amy’s life-saving treatment.
